Today was Friday of "Expulsion of syrian embassadors"

Arab League

The Arab League gave three more days to Assad to stop violence in Syria. Tomorrow, the 18th November will be the last one, we'll see what happens then (it already is the third ultimatum the Arab League presents the Assad regime with). Nabil Al Arabe, general secretary of the Arab League, has received threats from the shabbihas (Assad's thugs) during this last delay.

Annan plan Here is Annan's six-point-plan, if you've not seen it : 1. Syrian-led political process to address the aspirations and concerns of the Syrian people 2. UN-supervised cessation of armed violence in all its forms by all parties to protect civilians 3. All parties to ensure provision of humanitarian assistance to all areas affected by the fighting, and implement a daily two-hour humanitarian pause 4. Authorities to intensify the pace and scale of release of arbitrarily detained persons 5. Authorities to ensure freedom of movement throughout the country for journalists 6. Authorities to respect freedom of association and the right to demonstrate peacefully I don't know about you, but I don't think Assad will follow any of them, even though he agreed to (and even though that would make him look like the good guy in front of the International Community).
